The purpose of this project was to draw awareness and buy-in to a blue law that’s still active in the U.S. The law illustrated in this site design is based in Louisiana: sending delivery pizza to someone without their knowledge or permission could result in a $500 fine. This campaign includes three examples of display advertising, a full desktop website and responsive mobile site.
The campaign website takes a light-hearted look at the law by demonstrating other things you can do with pizza, sharing the history of the law and comparing how the market has changed, and providing resources for die-hard pizza lovers.
Users enjoy a multitude of micro-interactions on the desktop site, including motion in the arrows, a “dancing” logo in the nav bar, and CTAs with hover actions, all of which encourage user engagement and click through.
This responsive design works seamlessly when converted to mobile. The elegant solution involves a slight layout change and reorder of content, so no matter what device it’s viewed on, putting the user in control of their own experience.
